Welcome back to another Slow Sunday Letter! I hope you have had a slow and gentle week.
This post is very special indeed - in fact it is one I have all the nervous excited bubbles in my tummy about sharing with you all.
Today - I am FINALLY launching my new paid membership - Slow & Steady! Join me as we move through 2025 together...

A cosy and gentle space to gather together, learn from and inspire one another. Go deeper into Slow & Gentle Living and what it can mean for you.
I have wanted to launch my own membership here on Substack for quite some time, but true to our slow philosophy here at Generosity of Spirit, I have moved slowly. I have been thinking a lot about what this space should be, and what it should feel like. I always knew this space maybe a little different to those you see around Substack - I don’t like paywalls, and I also won’t be altering or taking away any of my free content.
Slow & Steady will be a living, breathing space and as such the content will change and evolve as we move through the year.
Slow & Steady will offer 12 exclusive letters for members moving through each month of 2025. The membership is an extension of my free offerings, a deeper and more personal dive into slow and gentle living, creative work and my own life and experiences.
I love writing so much, it brings me so much joy, and publishing here on Substack has been so wonderful. I love connecting with you all - sharing my slow and gentle living philosophy, indulging in plenty of book chat, and insights into creative living. I am really proud of our community, and so my free content will not change at all.
Through my new membership though, I hope to create a safe space in which we can get to know each other more. Within Slow & Steady I want to go even deeper - I will share more about my own life, creative projects, and take you with me as I continue to create a life inspired by slow and gentle living.

Why Generosity of Spirit?
Generosity of Spirit is the openness and willingness to share our ‘gifts’ , our ‘spirit’ (both emotional and material) freely with others .
We all feel the need to slow down sometimes, but no matter how hard we try sometimes it can feel so hard up against the rush and pressure of modern life. I want to help you explore this philosophy as part of a community.
Slow & Gentle Living has transformed nearly every aspect of my life. I live with anxiety and have struggled with confidence. Now, with a gentle and understanding approach, I am more productive and motivated than ever before, but I’m also kinder to myself. I feel closer to my authentic self, and I have a deeper sense of gratitude for this wonderful life and the many tiny simple moments of joy all around. Most importantly for me, I invite peace and calm in, and I feel a sense of contentment that wraps me up in loving and encouraging arms.
Slow Living can change your life for the better, and it is my sincere wish to introduce this kind and gentle philosophy to as many people as I can.

On the first Sunday of every Month - I publish my Book Lovers Chat
Book Lovers Chat : Alongside a video catch up with you all, I will share my recent and current reads, as well as reviews and recommendations. There will be some bonus book lovers fun like reading challenges, classic literature exploration, TBR list building guidance, reading tips and encouragement.
Once a month (following Book Lovers) - I publish A Writer’s Life
A Writer’s Life : An insight into my writing life, these will be full of guidance for those wishing to embrace writing more! From journaling, to creating your own writing routine, to finding the perfect writing nook in your home. Together we will explore how to flourish in your creative life!
The following two Sunday’s a month - I publish my Slow Sunday Letter.
Slow Sunday Letter : These represent a personal letter from me to you. I would love your company here at Generosity of Spirit as I encourage little moments for you in my weekly Slow Sunday Letters and of course, lots more Slow and Gentle Living inspiration.
I have decided the months of the year that have five Sundays, I will not post on the 5th Sunday. It is my way of incorporating a little break throughout the year.
These will be:
Sunday 30th March
Sunday 29th June
Sunday 31st August
Sunday 30th November
Now … What can you expect as a PAID member of Slow & Steady …
So, what does the Slow & Steady membership include?
If you would like to join Slow & Steady, for £3.50 a month (or £35 a year), this is a sample of what you can look forward to -
You will receive a dedicated members post on the first Wednesday of each month.
In my exclusive monthly letters to Slow & Steady members, I will share personal insights and behind the scenes on how I live my slow and gentle life. Each letter will be framed around a word of the month, and will be a little treasure trove of content to help guide us through the seasons and year.
Each month could include a mixture of :
Personal insights - audio notes, videos, diary style
Vegan recipes and slow cooking inspiration
Exploring creativity - creative projects, activities, bonus worksheets
Journaling practice - guidance and prompts
Slow & Gentle Living Inspiration
Seasonal Resets - Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn
They will reflect me, and what my life and creative working life looks like, and feels like in the moment. They will offer a deeper and more practical look at the realities of slow living, and a behind the scenes look at my creative projects. I will also include everything I’ve been enjoying, reading, and been inspired by.
You will also get access to an exclusive members Journal Chat space hosted here on Substack.
I want to create a gentle space, where we can get to know each other better, and I felt a live chat space would work so well. I would love this space to be a source of inspiration- a place you can visit, find your people, and simply take up space, be you, and connect with others.
I will provide live journal prompts and guidance periodically throughout the month. My hope is this chat will be very gentle space you can visit for some calm, time for you and a little inspiration as a starting off point for your journaling or writing.
You will be very welcome to share your journaling, thoughts, musings or anything that has inspired you too, but there is no pressure. I’ll host throughout the month and hopefully it will become a beautiful space of community, inspiration and resources for your personal and creative writing.
Each new paid subscriber will also receive a personal welcome letter from me! I will be in touch after you sign up to say hello and THANK YOU and to ask for your postal address (or email address if you prefer) to send you a personal welcome message from me to you.
