I love all of the examples you’ve given. All depends on where I’m at and what I need. So sometimes it’s arts, sometimes movement…. 🥰

This is great Emily! I really enjoy cooking and baking at the moment – I'm getting rather experimental with food at the moment so I'm always excited to try something new in the kitchen 😊

What a lovely piece! Brimming full of ideas and affirming little things that are already in us but need some stirring and space to come to the surface. I especially like the questions:

- What supplies and equipment do I already have?

- Where/when have I felt most at peace?

- who inspires you & why?

For me, at the moment, it’s walking (and taking time to sit with ) my dog &reading and writing poems. This one feels like a little echo of your creative encouragement…

So many amazing options and ideas you've outlined here! I really love slowing down by journaling too, it makes you intentionally think about each word that you write on the page.

This is such a wonderful piece, Emily! 💖 having something to help us slow down and focus on being creative feels more important than ever at the moment. It feels like we’re being intentional in making time for us to be mindful. And I’m so grateful to you for including me here too, thank you so much! 🥰

I love reading, especially how it calms me down and lowers my heartbeat almost instantely. I discovered the extremely positive effects of it after a fight with my boyfriend.

I was really angry and fired up, and in that moment I decided to read. After some pages, while the fury was still raging in my mind, I completely relaxed, got sucked into the story and forgot why I was angry in the first place!

That really showed me how important it is to slow down.

Also making puzzles - I get lost in space and time.

I love you gentle living philosophy. Curious to learn more from you, Emily!

Most of those things. I’ve just finished a mixed media course, centred on metal embossing. I have some free online art tutorials to explore.
