Loved this! Have used your journal prompts, which revealed some interesting results. I look forward to taking steps towards a slower, gentler life... starting with blocking out "nothing" time in my calendar 👍 Thank you Emily 💞

That's wonderful Eva ! Putting it at the forefront of your mind, and giving yourself the grace and permission to slow down and decide where your attention is placed is a great way to gently incorporate slow and gentle living. Little by little you'll start seeing more adjustments you can make, more opportunities to invite slow and calm in.

I'm here anytime if you need anything!

Wishing time to go faster is my guilty pastime. But lately I've been training my brain to enjoy the process... the journey... instead of the destination.

Oh same Sekar! I have been so guilty of this , especially at work. But like you, I am trying to train myself out of it, because it is a waste of our wonderful time! 'The journey, not the destination' is such a perfect reminder.

Oh wonderful, yes book ending the day with some really intentional 'you' time to rise and then wind down is truly the best. I am so glad you enjoyed this.

This is such a great guide, Emily! Some of my slow living practices have fell by the wayside recently so I've needed a reminder of the slow living fundamentals, thank you so much for providing it 😊

Thank you Leah! I am so glad you have found this useful. I often pull my focus back to these basics when I find myself getting overwhelmed, particularly anxious or ‘going through the motions’ and losing intentional action. I also think life evolves all the time, and sometimes I feel more called to different elements of slow living.

Love the idea of leaving free time, free, and just letting life flow as it may! I rarely schedule time in to do this, so definitely going to give it a go this week 💛
