I am so happy you are here!
Together we are going to explore Slow & Gentle Living and how it can help you live a more peaceful, more productive and more enriching life.
Slow Living is for everyone- yes, even you!
Slow Living has something to offer for everyone. At its heart it is a gentle guiding philosophy offering you the chance to slow down, notice all the wonderful blessings around you, and direct your attention towards the things that truly matter to you.
We all feel the need to slow down sometimes, but no matter how hard we try sometimes it can feel so hard up against the rush and pressure of modern life. I want to help you explore this philosophy as part of a community.
Slow & Gentle Living has transformed nearly every aspect of my life. I live with anxiety and have struggled with confidence. Now, with a gentle and understanding approach, I am more productive and motivated than ever before, but I am kinder to myself. I feel closer to my authentic self and I have a deeper sense of gratitude for this wonderful life and the many tiny simple moments of joy all around. Most importantly for me, I invite peace and calm in and I feel a sense of contentment that wraps me up in loving and encouraging arms.
Slow Living can change your life for the better, and it is my sincere wish to introduce this kind and gentle philosophy to as many people as I can.
Who am I?
Hello, Iâm Emily. I live in a small home in Norwich, Norfolk.
I live and work part time in the city. I am an introvert and a lover of words.
I love being at home and embracing a slow and gentle way of life. I love writing and journaling. I have recently rekindled my love of reading and have been exploring all sorts of genres this year.
I have been vegan for about five years, and I love cooking and food! One of my favourite places in the world is my kitchen, I am never happier than when I am at home in my kitchen, apron on - cooking. I think about food all the time, and I love meal planning and exploring different recipes.
I live with anxiety, and so I adopt various methods of self care in order to create a safe and gentle way of life. It has taken me years to embrace my anxiety, and what it means for me. I believe my anxiety has given me the opportunity to learn about my unique and authentic self, and invited me to take the time to nourish my spirit in order to live with peace in my heart.
