Welcome to Generosity of Spirit, a gentle community for YOU. We find pockets of time for slow & gentle living, books, writing, journaling & life affirming work. You are so welcome here in our cosy space, grab a cuppa & stay a while... ๐ข๐๐โ๐
Welcome back to another Slow Sunday Letter! I hope you have had a slow and gentle week.
This is my last post of this year! I have decided to have a break for the rest of the year to enjoy a slow and calm Christmas and New Year!
I want to say a big thank you to all my lover readers and subscribers. I have had the most wonderful year - embracing a slow and gentle life, tapping into my creativity, reigniting my love of reading, writing everyday, and growing little by little in confidence along the way.
Each and every one of you has helped me in more ways than you know. Thank you.
So grab a cuppa, get cosy and letโs take a moment to reflect on 2024 with my last Slow Sunday Letter of the year โฆ

A Beautiful Year of Slow Growth & Creation
I want to encourage everyone to find time this week to do some reflection. If we donโt take the time to slow down now, before Christmas gets too busy and too noisy, and reflect on what has happened in the past year, we could miss out on some wonderful learning opportunities and insights. Letโs take some time, just for you to slow down and reflect now with a peaceful mind, and grounded heart - so we are ready to step forward into whatever adventures 2025 has in store.
This week try to make time for one or more of the below and use it as a time to look back over your year โฆ
๐ณ GO OUTSIDE โ go for a walk, sit outside or just breath in the outside air. Let nature, clear your mind and allow yourself to wander physically and spiritually.
๐ MEDITATE - if you meditate regularly, now is the perfect time to do a body scan or soul check in. If you have never meditated before, why not give it a go? Listen to what your soul needs you to hear.
Try this meditation โฆ
Deep Magnetic Cleanse & Healing Of Body & Mind, Reconnection To Your Soul, Guided Meditation
โ๏ธ JOURNAL โ set aside some time this week to journal, to get your thoughts out onto paper. (see journal prompts at the end of this post)

A little homework - in January we will have a look at how to create your word of the year, so as we approach the final few weeks of 2024 - have a little think about how you would like 2025 to feel, what you need from the forthcoming year and what guiding words you would like to support you.
I will meet you all back here Sunday 5th January for our first Book Lovers Chat of 2025!
Wishing you all a calm December and a very happy New Year.

This was absolutely lovely! It seems like youโve had a beautiful year. And I love your ideas for reflection - itโs so good to do it now and plan a long winterโs rest for yourself. I wish you the most amazing end of the year. Iโll be taking a break from the solstice until a week into January. And I canโt wait to hunker down, reflect, and dream for the new year. โฃ๏ธ
What a beautiful roundup - you've definitely inspired me to do one of my own.
And I was thrilled to see the Norwich photos in there too. Discovering that beautiful city this year (now my son is at Uni there) has definitely been one of the highlights of 2024 for me.
